A|L Media (www.almediastrategy.com), a fast-paced, award-winning political media firm is looking for a Digital Strategist to join our growing team. The digital strategist would be responsible for serving as the digital lead for clients, leading the digital media planning efforts and working with buyers to traffic ads in-platform, and manage day-to-day digital buying, tracking, and optimizing of ad campaigns across multiple clients. You'll be a crucial part of a team that helps elect Democratic candidates and support progressive causes nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the digital planning and buying lead for a range of candidate and issue-group clients, making strategic recommendations in both an internal and client facing capacity.
Develop digital advertising plans across channels that meet client specific needs and drive results for persuasion and mobilization campaigns.
Work closely with digital buyers and buying associates to execute in platform on campaigns including launching, monitoring active buys to optimize performance and pacing of spend.
Delivering weekly reports to clients, including any recommendations for adjustments or additional opportunities.
Ensure campaigns are executed without error, including reconciling invoices with platform spend to ensure funds are accounted for.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in multi-channel digital advertising: Facebook, Instagram, Google Search, YouTube, DSPs and/or direct buys.
Familiarity with current and emerging trends in the digital advertising ecosystem.
Familiarity in running A/B ad tests to inform, improve, and optimize ad campaigns.
Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to present complex information to a variety of stakeholders with differing levels of digital competence.
Experience in politics, political campaigns, or government is preferred.

The digital buyer would be responsible for assisting with in-platform, day-to-day digital buying, tracking, and optimizing of ad campaigns across multiple clients. Our firm is based in Chicago, IL. This is a remote position and is open to candidates anywhere.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Digital Strategists to implement multi-channel digital advertising campaigns across a number of political clients.
Launching and monitoring the ongoing performance of digital advertising campaigns across a variety of channels, including YouTube, CTV, Audio, Meta, Search, and more.
Work with publishers like Hulu to execute direct advertising campaigns, including getting avails, trafficking tags and monitoring mid-campaign performance.
Delivering weekly reports to clients, and working with Digital Strategists to make recommendations for adjustments or additional opportunities.
Ensure campaigns are executed without error, including reconciling invoices with platform spend to ensure funds are accounted for.
Skills & Qualifications:
At least one cycle (1-2 years) of experience working in digital on a campaign, agency or organization.
Experience managing digital campaigns on Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, Search, or demand-side platforms like The Trade Desk is preferred.
Experience reporting on performance of digital programs.
Strong attention to detail and an eagerness to learn new skills and platforms.
Experience in politics, political campaigns, or government is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Review the setup of digital advertising campaigns and creatives in a variety of digital platforms to ensure that they are set up properly.
Collaborate with Digital Buyers to ensure any errors are quickly identified and resolved.
Review daily invoice reports and payment requests to ensure all protocols are being followed.
Work with Digital Buyers to ensure client campaigns are pacing and help onboard new clients to our reporting system.
Skills & Qualifications:
Detail oriented with the ability to follow our thorough QA process.
Ability to thrive in a team environment and collaborate with others effectively.
The ability and eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to an ever changing digital environment.

This is a remote position and is open to candidates anywhere. This position ends on election day November 3, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Tracking digital competitive spending in excess of a dozen races. Campaigns range from federal to statewide to caucus races.
Developing a relationship with our digital platform representative to obtain up-to-the-minute information and ensure accuracy of the digital reporting dashboard.
Documenting all spending and sharing updated reports in a timely fashion with clients.
Developing and tailoring reporting formats for each client.
Offering basic analysis of spending information by platform and holistically.
Maintaining the firm’s high standard of comprehensive client services that meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
Skills & Qualifications:
