The Position
A|L is looking for a Social Content Creator, who is creative, proactive, and able to follow internet trends to make engaging content and build followings for our clients.
This role is ideal for someone with strong creative design skills, solid pop culture/digital instincts and the ability to take an idea from conception to final deliverable quickly and with cultural context and precision.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all parts of creative execution for social media; concept, write, design, film edit, post and experiment with new ideas
Exercise built-in tools within social media platforms Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Respond in real time to culture, memes, and trends while remaining appropriate and on brand
Eager & driven to take a look at new filters and other creative tools to push the boundaries of content creation for our clients
Understanding clipping and editing content in a fast-paced, agile environment
Develop recurring content series, challenges, and brand moments that drive conversation and virality
Stay informed on issues & topics related to our clients to add to the content pipeline.
Learn to use AI and other tools to develop visuals, motion, and mixed media content
Skills & Qualifications:
2- 4 years of professional experience creating content for clients, brands
Proficient in digital editing softwares: Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, TikTok
Advanced in navigating social media platforms (Instagram, X, Tik Tok, Facebook, YouTube)
Ability to work flexible hours, including some nights/weekends depending on turnaround times
Have experience in building online followings - A PLUS

Video Editor/Motion Graphic Artist - Social Media | Remote $50,000-$65,000 Annually
A|L Media (www.almediastrategy.com), a fast-paced, award-winning political media firm is looking for a Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to join our growing social media content team. We partner with progressive political and issue-oriented campaigns across the country.
The Position
This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes short-form content, understands visual storytelling across platforms, and can turn raw footage, interviews, and design assets into compelling, high-impact videos for political and advocacy audiences.
The ideal candidate combines strong editing chops with modern motion design skills, bringing a fresh visual language that performs on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging channels. You know what works, what doesn’t, and why.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and design a wide range of social-first content, including short-form videos, reels, vertical stories, and paid social ads.
Combine clean editing with strong motion graphics (kinetic typography, transitions, animated elements) to elevate storytelling.
Create platform-optimized versions of content (vertical, square, 16:9, captions, safe zones).
Interpret scripts, concepts, and mood boards to deliver polished, on-brand videos.
Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and content creators on concepts and final delivery.
Stay current on social trends, editing styles, audio cues, and platform best practices.
Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and versions simultaneously.
Interpret scripts, mood boards, and storyboards to deliver strong visual narratives.
Manage project timelines, versioning, and asset organization across multiple simultaneous deliverables.
Participate in brainstorms and help pitch new creative approaches for social content.
Understand and apply platform-specific best practices, including:
Aspect ratios, caption placement, and safe zones
Audio trends and hooks for TikTok & Reels
Thumbnail optimization and pacing for YouTube
Paid social requirements for Meta, YouTube, TikTok
Stay up to date on evolving social trends, editing styles, and political content performance
2+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics, ideally within digital media, agency, political communication, or social-first environments.
Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator, CapCut, Canva and TikTok.
Strong understanding of pacing, sound design, color correction/grading, and visual storytelling.
A portfolio demonstrating short-form social content, motion design work, and examples of platform-specific editing.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and pivot quickly based on client or campaign needs.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Experience with vertical video, social trends, and rapid-turnaround content required.

Digital Buyer | Remote $65,000-$75,000 Annually
Digital Buyer
Remote
A|L Media (www.almediastrategy.com), a fast-paced, award-winning political media firm is looking for a Digital Buyer to join our growing team. The digital buyer would be responsible for assisting with in-platform, day-to-day digital buying, tracking, and optimizing of ad campaigns across multiple clients. Our firm is based in Chicago, IL. This is a remote position and is open to candidates anywhere.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Digital Strategists to implement multi-channel digital advertising campaigns across a number of political clients.
Launching and monitoring the ongoing performance of digital advertising campaigns across a variety of channels, including YouTube, CTV, Audio, Meta, Search, and more.
Work with publishers like Hulu to execute direct advertising campaigns, including getting avails, trafficking tags and monitoring mid-campaign performance.
Delivering weekly reports to clients, and working with Digital Strategists to make recommendations for adjustments or additional opportunities.
Ensure campaigns are executed without error, including reconciling invoices with platform spend to ensure funds are accounted for.
Skills & Qualifications:
At least one cycle (1-2 years) of experience working in digital on a campaign, agency or organization.
Experience managing digital campaigns on Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, Search, or demand-side platforms like The Trade Desk is preferred.
Experience reporting on performance of digital programs.
Strong attention to detail and an eagerness to learn new skills and platforms.
Experience in politics, political campaigns, or government is preferred.
